    I bought this policy just in case I have any problems with the television I purchased for my mother's birthday. The good thing is I haven't had to use it as of yet which I guess is a good thing.

    This is one of those purchases you make hoping you never need it. And with the quality of Samsung, I do not expect to. But it is pretty cheap insurance.

    It provides coverage for a lot of different issues and will upgrade to the current year model if you have issues. I don't believe it covers physical damage(drops, hits, cosmetic/water damage), so if that's what you're worried about you might just want to buy something you can afford to replace.
