The first year if this warrenty does not include Geek Squad until the Mfg's warrenty is over. They don't tell you that in the store. The Mfg rep is very hard to get ahold of to get support and they won't come to your house, just come in thru the internet. That doesn't help if the problem is intermittent.

I bought this 85” QN90D open-box TV and picked it up in-store. It was poorly packaged, had no accessories, and the screen was damaged from the start. I spoke to over 15 agents in-store, on Twitter, and through Best Buy chat — all said I was responsible and refused to help. Only one agent finally issued a return label after weeks of stress. It took 21 days to get my refund. Be extremely careful with open-box items. Customer support depends entirely on who you get — and most won't listen.

It covers a long time for sure on the apple watch I purchased.

Getting protection on your device is the most important thing to do incase something goes wrong

This is an amazing offer from Best Buy, It extends protection out beyond the first year.

They say they will come to my house if there is a problem with my TV. I called with a problem I noticed when I brought the TV home and they asked me to bring it back. It is not easy transporting a 75" TV so I will wait for a real problem that is not cosmetic.

This tv lags really bad. After resetting multiple times it still lags. Also, randomly shuts down all the time..I literally sljust logged in to make a claim on it. The only good thingI would say is the picture of it.

This insurance for the Samsung Smart TV is great, I feel relieved that I'm covered for 5 years.

I heard they are good at what they do. Have had the opportunity to use their services.

I got the protection just in case something were to happen..I haven't had to use it yet.

So the picture is nice enough, But i would like to give it a negative review because the tv bogs down and wont recognize the button being pushed on the remote, we have to unplug and replug it back in to get it working, The tv takes forever to go to an app to be able to watch anything. Sometimes it also looses connection to the wifi and cant do anything, and now as im talking to 800bestbuy to get a technician to come look at it under the 2 year protection plan i always buy with any tv or big purchase from Best Buy. They wont send anyone out because I have a 1 year manufacturers warrenty still in place until September 28. This TV IS TRASH and Best Buy changed the policy with the protection plans and now im stuck on hold the last 10 minutes waiting to do troubleshooting with someone ... UGH!

I normally buy insurance only for purchases that I'm concerned about. I bought this for my LG nanocell 90 series because it was bought used. I never have had to use geek squad services so I cant share my full experience.

Bought the protection an just in case. Hope to not use it but if I do best buy has a sweet deal.

Having Geek Squad protection definitely makes buying a TV feel safer but it is a bit pricey

So far so good on the geek squad service. Would recommend for piece of mind.
