. I will also be purchasing the protection for gifts for my parents so they can also have the same piece of mind. I purchased this back up plan in connection with one of the TVs that I use for gaming and watching streaming movies It is great to know that I can have the peace of mind that my item will get fixed if there is a problem.

I have used geek squad on a couple of other items (computer, vacuum, washer and dryer). The couple of times we had to use them, they were easy and quick to use. I will definitely recommend them to anyone.

The service was great, helpful and very informative.

Highly recommend taking policy out on flatscreen purchases that are several hundred dollars or more...may not need to use the contract but gives you piece of mind. If sets break repair costs are inevitably high so contract is with it. Had to use mine a month before the 5 year expired and it was honored. Set fixed and good as new. Worth the money.

I have had overall luck with the service for the past items I've purchased in the past. Most times they provided a box to ship back the defective product and they send a replacement quickly. The only time I needed to go to the local store was to move data from an old PC to a new PC. The staff was pleasant overall, however needed to get the supervisor involved to cover the data transfer per the agreement of the plan since the team member was new and unfamiliar with the plan.

Haven't had the need to use this service, but it's always good to have that extra safety net.

The geek squad that came out to set up my tv, was outstanding. They were both outstanding. I was very satisfied with them. They were very helpful every step of the way!

The Geek Squad professionals quickly mounted my television and peripherals. Additionally, they assisted me in set-up and provided a thorough overview of the features.

I haven't gotten to use the extended warranty...so not sure yet. But... I had a 65" going bad. The manager said they would cover it, but the screen was cracked in a corner. I was ok with the crack, it didn't affect the TV and was there for over a year. The TV started going dark and 'glitching' non stop. I do not believe it was related to the crack at all, but the they would not touch it with any type of damage. So...I really didn't get to see how the warranty works, other than it doesn't cover damage. duh... Apparently there is no damage coverage available on larger TV's at all. Bummer...

Protects my electronics and if they can't repair they replace. Love it

I love the Best Buy protection plan, which I've used for lower-cost items like hearing aids and smart watches. I hope it works and is just as excellent.

Haven't had to use this and hope we don't have to, but it's there if we should need it. Gives peace of mind!

Consider the cost of the tv i bought and they guarantee it for 5 years. I see tvs all over on cl selling w bad pixels or a line. If this hapoens in 4 years from nowwell i call best buy and tgey bring me a samsung series 9 tv that has 3d to my house and haul off the bad one who wouldnt want their tech replaced with the new updated version?

Best buy protection is worth it especially if accidental damage from handling is part of the plan. I had that plan on my Microsoft surface pro 3 and had the unfortunent event of damaging the screen beyond repair, I had renewed the plan twice and I was so happy I did because I was able to get my surface replaced and now I have the pro 6. I will continue to get protection from now on!
