I'm finally writing a review for this tv. I had a thunderstorm about a few months after purchase and the quality of the tv hasn't been the same. I reached out to best buy to come fix my tv and just like most of you said, I had to contact Hisense to come out. because of the Manufacture first year warranty. Three tv specialist have been to my home and nothing has changed. The picture isn't sharp/clear at all anymore. I was told that I have to deal with this tv until after the one-year warranty is over. I couldn't believe I had to wait this long to enjoy my tv. Withing this timeframe I went back to best buy and brought another 85-inch tv which I'm happy with. I agree with one of you said, why did I pay for a 5-year warranty when it really a 4-year warranty? My one year is coming up, and I hope best buy can take care of their loyal customers. But I wouldn't recommend this tv for anyone. The worst tv I ever brought.

The protection plan for the cost provides assurance for any premature product issue that may occur.

I like the Geek Squad service. These have always done a good job when I needed them for service.

Overall the Geek squad has been awesome. The installer went beyond requirements.

If you buy any new appliance you should at least get a two year protection you pay a lot for your new appliance.

When purchasing any major appliance - you must always purchase the extended warranty. It has always worked out great for me. Thanks Best Buy

The plan was for a 5-year period. The plan didn't cost a lot and provided peace of mind. The TV out lasted the plan. It's too bad that Best Buy doen't have have a rebate option for plans not used.

How can you go wrong? The price was right and if anything should go wrong with my new Samsung tv, it's covered. So, for just a few dollars more, I have peace of mind and can sit back and enjoy it all. Definitely worth the money.
