    A must have for my 4K TVs

    Protecting my investment on 4K TVs is a must, and purchasing the Geek Squad's 5-year warranty on each TV is a no-brainer. I did this in the past and it totally paid off when my much older set had issues before the protection plan was over. They replaced my entire set with a brand new one years ago. It pays off in the long run, trust me!

    Definitely protect your stuff people. With all the tech we have you should know by now that things break and or stop working for no reason sometimes.

    Geek Squad was very helpful. They walked me through every troubleshooting step several times hoping to get my tv back in working order the same day but my tv wasn’t having it at all. So with all other options exhausted we scheduled a visit for a couple weeks out and they will be coming to install a new motherboard from my understanding.

    I had Alex Snow , a Geek Squad member , to repair my Toshiba 43" 4K Chromecast tv , under manufacturer warranty. Alex was pleasant and extremely helpful. After ordering the part to repair my tv and scheduling a return visit , we found out 2 weeks later that the part was back ordered by 2 months. Alex was instrumental in getting me a replacement tv without any inconvenience. For this , I purchased the Geek Squad extended service plan and just wanted to say thank you again Snow , great service was appreciated.

    Geek Squad vs Amazon TV warranties

    Did not order this set up service. Was informed that this is a much better warranty and that you stick by it as Amazon does not stick by their warranties.

    Whenever you buy something from Best Buy’s and are offered a warranty get it. Best Buy’s has the best hassle free warranty service you just have to know how to describe your problem, when my sister tv was messing up she got it checked out 3 times until I told her to explain to them that the tv goes blank after hours of use. Come to find out the motherboard on the tv was the problem which got fixed right away when explained the problem properly in stead of just saying it goes black sometimes.

    I had the protection on my old TV and I'm glad I did! MY TV broke 4 months after my original warranty ran out. I called them and they came out to fix it, they had to order a new board. They came back 2 more times, and they couldn't fix it, so they gave me another brand new TV. tv

    Such a great deal! Five years of protection for our new 50" Insignia 4K TV with Amazon Fire HD built-in. We got a very decent price. When you pay $300 for a 50" 4K TV with a streamer and a whopping five year warranty, it is a deal! So using my own personal experience, if a TV lasts five years or more, it's paid for it's self. This warranty is a good deal to cover my cheap TV deal!

    I bought a Sony TV in 2017 and purchased a 5 year Geek Squad warranty. I thought the Sony TV would last a long time, but I decided to buy the warranty just in case. The TV suddenly quit working in May 2020. Best Buy sent a repairman out to check TV. It could not be repaired. They replaced it with a new TV. So glad I had the 5 year warranty. It's also nice to be able to call Geek Squad when I have any questions.

    I don't usually buy protection plans, but I have found the plans at Best Buy are well worth the money, especially on products valued at over a hundred dollars. I have every confidence in Best Buy now that I have had the experience of needing the protection plan. They were fast, efficient and I am so glad we had protection on our products. (Cell phone, tablet, TV and Laptop) Don't leave the store without checking out the protection plan for your purchase. Safety first means coverage to protect your electronics and access to quality repairs.

    Geek Squad always helps me! If you are just joining, you need understand that you have to make an appointment - in store and / or online. It is generally quick, but not instantaneous. I greatly appreciate their help with my technological problems. It is a great weight off of my shoulders to belong and not have to worry about how to get a repair done. Many times they can help remotely.

    We recently upgraded our tech support but have used Geek Squad for years with great success. They have by chat, phone and in store walked me through issues, questions, information searches and purchases. Having that kind of support any time of day or night keeps all our techno gizmos running at home since I have limited knowledge. I have never had a technician seem impatient or rushed.

    I had no problem mounting and connecting this tv to the internet. Has the best picture of any 4k tv that I have purchased! The price was very reasonable.
