Great affordable protection service and de worry free

This "insurance" plan is a definite must have, especially if you are not especially tech savvy. I have used it numerous times and it provides peace of mind and is reassuring to know that any problem(s) I encounter with tech issues will be handled in an efficient and thorough way.

The protection plan is good overall. What I don't like is it doesn't kick in until a year after you purchase which wasn't obvious when I bought the TV. You have to go through the TV provider for the first year on most models. So, basically, you are paying for a 4 year plan instead of a 5 year, because you can't use the plan in the first year of owning your tv. The bottom line, you shouldn't be charged for a 5 year plan if it is only good for 4 years.

Weird thing to ask for a review on, but okay. We basically got this as insurance because we were getting a tv delivered and the contactless delivery nulls the usual delivery-related insurance. So covid19 safety won out and we got this to be safe. Didn't need it for the delivery (that went well), and I suppose we have it in case we need it going forward. Hopefully we don't. You know how it goes.

Great price for the warranty on my son 43 inch Samsung tv. I would definitely recommend get one for your children items.

Protecting my investment on 4K TVs is a must, and purchasing the Geek Squad's 5-year warranty on each TV is a no-brainer. I did this in the past and it totally paid off when my much older set had issues before the protection plan was over. They replaced my entire set with a brand new one years ago. It pays off in the long run, trust me!

I would recommend this to anyone taking a chance on a television.

I'm so glad I purchased the extended warranty when I bought my 55" insignia Fire TV. I had to exchange for another one after a month and then exchange again for an upgraded brand.

If you are purchasing a high end tv or high end Home theater setup, get this. I am not a believer in protection plans for almost all products , but i have purchased this for Both of my LG tvs and i am so glad i did,. Had issues with burn in on my first LG and Geek Squad was extremely helpful and lived up to the warranty. EXCELLENT< THANK YOU BEST BUY!!!!!

Everyone should get the 2 year geek squad protection for any television that they purchase from Best Buy, because you got that extra protection if something goes terrible wrong like the television screen goes totally blurry or if the television screen stops working all together! Just having that extra protection is definetly worth the extra money, so that you are protected, and don't have to throw away your television into the trash can! Everyone should be protected! I brought a insignia TV 2 yrs ago and recently it died on me but thanks to geek squad they did what they could but it was dead. But did help with my questions and help me understand my options and where to go from there.
