Purchased the new LG oled 65 inch tv. Because there is a possibility of burn in on oleds, and LG does not cover that in their warranty. I purchased the 5 year Geek Squad warranty that does cover burn in.

Geek Squad has been great so far. Smart techs, great service, very trustworthy and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

Dont buy from best buy!!!! They used to be good my TV messed up and we called them cause they can be fickle on what they do and say. Ive returned tvs for store credit before to get another brand cause the one i had has issues. This time I asked about it and they said i would have to have it brought in then sent off for repair. Or someone come to my house ive had people steal from me before i do not let people in my house. I told them that I wanted to do a warranty and then was going to buy a more expensive tv. They told me that i could not do that then transfered me to a supervisor who said yes it would be ok let me get you to another department. That next department pretty much told us to send it in or nothing at all. So like normal fashion with best buy its up to if they feel like letting you do it or not. I just had swapped out a bad router for a better one and guy at register said yes you can do this. But about a month or 2 later they wont let me exchange my tv? It has panel issues I spend most of my time at home due to not being able to work cause of a back injury so if i have to send my tv back for repair i will have no way of watching tv. But its cool i wont be buying from best buy anymore and i have slowed down over the years buying from them i was an elite member spending over 7k a year with them but as i said no more.

This is well-made and functions well. Getting a great deal (of the day) on it only made it better.

With today's electronics I wouldn't even take a chance without this warranty.(2-Year Standard Geek Squad Protection ) . If something goes wrong with your purchase during that time they will take care of it. I myself will get the extended warranty when it comes up.

Great peace of mind. When I always buy a TV I buy this and it has worked in the past.

There is no better use for your money than that spent for a Geek Squad Protection Plan. Not only is it applicable for the equipment purchased but also for two other pieces within the same household WIFI. Thank you Geek Squad for looking out for my continued IT needs.

I had to purchase the geek squad TV protection for my LG C1 TV. It is an extra layer of protection and provides me with peace of mind in case there is an accident. If you can afford it go for it.

Always feel safe. There is absolutely no substitute for being responsible. But accidents do happen, even with the best of us.

Haven't had to use this service (thank God), but is worth the price. Be sure to check the item you buy it with does not already have a warranty! Best Buy loves to sucker you into this when you don't even need it on certain items.

Bought this as an add-on for an open box TV. Definitely worth the cost. The whole thing cost me just under what a new one would have and i have 2 years warranty instead of the standard 1 year from the manufacturer.

I have not use this plan, but i have used it on previous TV's. I was able to walk in with a dead tv and walk out with a new tv during those experiences. Not cheap, but good peace of mind.

Have used Geek Squad services for installation purposes on all of my electronics. Very professional and super fast.
