This is a very worthwhile program especially for larger televisions. The technician coming to the house to fix it was covered under the contract on the larger TVs.

You must buy the 5 year insurance as a piece os mind

I haven't had to use the repair service, but I like having a little extra insurance while my TV is "new". In the past I had to have a TV replaced and was able to do so with this service. Highly recommend.

I bought the Geek Squad service plan for my new Insignia 55" 4K Roku TV. Modern electronics don't seem to last as long as they used to (the TV that this one replaced was a Panasonic 32" that served me well for 15 years). Hope I won't have to use it, but I thought it was reasonable insurance.

Geek squad is very professional about broken or damaged items when you have protection on them. Anything can go wrong, and typically it’s not even your fault! Sometimes life just happens and bam, you lose $400 because you didn’t pay the extra $20 for protection. Don’t be that guy.
