Coming from Roku 3, it is a major upgrade as far as audio/video quality however remote control is a letdown. Remote control feels cheap compared to Roku 3's remote. Its weight has a lot to do with it. Still a great product but does feel "budget" (and price reflects that).

I always purchase one of these with an item. It is inexpensive and if you have an issue it is taken care of immediately. I am not a techie and I usually need a little help. If it breaks, it's replaced.

No significant problems streaming. Only possible complaint is that I've found it is a little difficult to turn the TV on and off without messing up the Fire Stick.

Best Buy makes the warranty/geek squad protection A+++ now. No hassle, and they can look up the warranty based on your BB account even if you lost the receipt.

I have 3 Rokus in my home and have had almost no problems with them. However, I just bought one for a friend who has Spectrum cable service. Everything works great, except Roku no longer offers the Spectrum app. So you can't watch the cable TV that you are paying for through your Roku. This is a recent change. I can use my Rokus to watch Spectrum, no problem. But all the new Rokus have eliminated that app. I'm not sure about the other cable companies, but please check to make sure that your company's app is included if you intend to watch it through Roku.

Protection plan is a must specifically if it's a every day use
