    I have had several extened warranties for tvs from Best Buy. I had one tv stop working just a few days after the manufacturers warranty expired. Best Buy replaced it.

    I bought a laptop and had the hard drive go out and they quickly replaced the hard drive with a great one and it is still working 5 years later. Thank you

    While the TV in particular I purchased is not overly expensive, I felt the need to purchase the extended warranty because it was a fair price for 2-more years.
