Great service to have. I hope I do not have to use it. But good to have.

I always get a geek squad protection plan. Last time the back panel of LG went out and all images had such a strong blue hue. They came and looked at it then gave me a credit to get a new tv.

Same as the last time this is my second time dealing with geek squad replacements. They kept replacing the board which DID NOTHING!!! i was without a tv for almost 2 months . I had to rent a tv for 89 a month until they said they needed the board to fail 3 times instead of giving a replacement. So it was a 1500 dollar tv the reciept showed every main board was 1199 so they spent 3 times the tv's cost in repairs plus whatever it cost the truck and workers and then the 4th time when they picked up the tv and dropped off the other. This is crazy and if they just stopped this weird policy i dont know if its made up or what because it was the same guy every time i do not know if he was just saying this to pocket the money or what but its a crazy thing to do keep putting something that does nothing to fix it 3 times and wasting money and everyones time and making me have to rent a tv for a month. Honestly the only reason i give 2 stars is becAUSE they finally gave me a new tv what the old one was worth.

No problem with service. Haul away old tv. Drivers were f3.

My review of this service is positive. They helped repair (resolve) an issue with the screen even after my moving it and having that piece of mind when purchasing a $5K TV is important. I know all of the reviews tell you that the geek squad protection is a scam and just a way for the store to line their pockets, but when you spend this much on a TV it is worth it and much easier than going though manufacturers warrenty. If I had listened to the critics then I would be without a working Tv right now

Great picture. Liked the idea of being able to load different apps. Didn't like the fact that the memory was quickly used up after uploading a few apps. We ofteh received a message to uninstall apps to clean up the memory. Overall this is a great TV for the cost. You may need to be a little tech savvy for this one.

I bought a Sony TV in 2017 and purchased a 5 year Geek Squad warranty. I thought the Sony TV would last a long time, but I decided to buy the warranty just in case. The TV suddenly quit working in May 2020. Best Buy sent a repairman out to check TV. It could not be repaired. They replaced it with a new TV. So glad I had the 5 year warranty. It's also nice to be able to call Geek Squad when I have any questions.

I like buying the extended warranties on electronics it gives me an extended piece of mind that if my product had a problem in the future The Geek squad has my back.

Great tv for the price i paid for it. Super clear picture and they took great care of me at the store after rhe first tv showed up at my house with a shattered display. Best buy ahs always been great to me.

This is one of the best services around, they do an awesome job on fixing the items that needed fixed.

You should always buy the geek squad service when purchasing a device over the 150 dollar range.

Agent was helpful and reviewed the product failures I was experiencing. Took his time to review if the failures were common to this model. They we’re and replacement for this product was quickly suggested, forms were completed and submitted.

Haven't had to use this and hope we don't have to, but it's there if we should need it. Gives peace of mind!

Bought a tv and returned it. The geek squad service fees were also returned. No hassle whatsoever.

The price of the warranty has doubled however down the line I will definitely appreciate having purchase the warranty should the tv have issues.

The Geek Squad service it well worth the price and I would purchase it again in a heartbeat!

I add the GSP or GSPR plans to just about every item I buy that offers them. At worst it is like a cheap insurance plan for my new item that I don't wind up using because the item held up great. At best they are there should something go wrong and I don't have to pay the full cost of a repair or replacement out of pocket.

I was very glad to get the chance to extend my service to 5 years and the Geek Squad made it easy.

Such a great deal! Five years of protection for our new 50" Insignia 4K TV with Amazon Fire HD built-in. We got a very decent price. When you pay $300 for a 50" 4K TV with a streamer and a whopping five year warranty, it is a deal! So using my own personal experience, if a TV lasts five years or more, it's paid for it's self. This warranty is a good deal to cover my cheap TV deal!
