Affordable price and makes a lot of sense for a television investment

I buy the geek squad warranty when it makes the most sense, usually when I spend a significant amount of money, and the manufacturer warranty is only one year.

I bought only the 2 year geek squad service. Hopefully the tv will outlast that, but I purchased due to the likely hood that any failure will probably be an early one and the squad will handle pixel or other failures after the 1 year HiSense warranty.

Always go with the Squad! Otherwise here in Hawaii it’s nearly impossible to find anyone capable or willing to fix your electronics for less than what you paid brand new!

Purchased warranty protection for tv, just in case. Luckily I haven't had to use it. Staff was very helpful with all my questions.

Always get the GSP on TVs. ya never know how much you use them now and they arent built like appliances. appliances are built to last 10 years. but TVs arent, and TVs have alot more functionality and use so Id always get GSP on TVs/

THE INSTALLER WAS AWESOME. THEY GOT EVERYTHING HOOKED UP TO ONE REMOTE WHICH MAKES IT SO EASY TO USE. MY HUSBAND LOVES IT. THEY WERE POLITE AND KNEW EXACTLY WHAT THEY WERE DOING. GREAT JOB GUYS.

I'm not a technology-minded person. As a result, I want someone I can call if I have a question about the product I've purchased, or a problem arises. Having Geek Squad protection gives me peace of mind because I know I can call them 24/7 (yes, I've called them in the middle of the night), and they will help me. I purchased the 2-year Geek Squad Protection Plan thinking it would provide immediate coverage if something went wrong with my new TV. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. What they don’t tell you upfront is that if your product is still under the manufacturer’s warranty, Geek Squad won’t help you, they’ll just refer you back to the manufacturer. That means you’re really only getting about one year of coverage, not two, because Geek Squad won’t step in until the manufacturer’s warranty expires. To make things even more frustrating, if your TV is wall-mounted, Best Buy won’t unmount it for you unless you pay an additional $150 or hire someone else to do it before they’ll even assist you. So, even though you pay extra for “full protection,” it doesn’t actually feel like full protection at all. This experience feels misleading and like false advertising. When you buy a 2-year protection plan, you expect help anytime during those two years, not to be bounced between companies or charged extra just to start the replacement process. Customers deserve better transparency about what this plan actually covers and when it applies.

A warranty that you want to have, security if you have a problem they will address quickly if there's a problem but I never had any problems with Samsung TVs.

Protection Plans are pretty expensive but when you need something repaired or replaced the agents are on it, and it's usually a fast and easy experience.

Great plan for new TV. The price is good for 5 years.
