It's a very good plan to have. You don't expect anything to happen but just in case you will be covered.

It's always a good idea to have the geek squad protection on your purchases. It's worth the extra few nucks.

I hope never to use this service but for the price of the TV I bought I felt this would be a good idea.

This was hands down the single GREATEST Television I have ever owned. I purchased it, paid for fully coverage, mounting and a crew to install it as its a mighty piece of tech. It literally made my home, home... in a lot of ways. Originally I had purchased a protection / repair plan... but as I saw and understood the quality and reality of the TV I had purchased I chose after about a year and some change to end it due to some unexpected financial expendature's. I had faith that I would get a good 5 years at a BARE minimum out of this purchase. I kid you not after a slight amount over a year and a half a giant green line appeared down the middle of the screen. Neither Geek Squad, nor BestBuy would help at all and referred me to the manufacturer. So disappointed, this was a hard tie to best buy purchases, but I was just not taken care of as a indulge of the better end of the what sales has to offer to consumer. After a few hour long phone calls, the TV is being sent to scrap. What an absolute hit to the heart with probably my favorite piece of visual tech I have had the chance to own. I can't see myself ever doing business with BestBuy / Sony / any affiliates of the two. These are the kind of situations where as a company, I would expect some respect and understanding to how money made vs high end purchasing customer getting a dud and having no real feasible solution. Best of luck. Do not buy from this company or establishment, find a company that cares about its real tech customers. :/

I never had any issues with this service. I also get the extended warranty because you just never know.

Extremely Poor Customer Service – Avoid Best Buy at All Costs! This has been, without a doubt, one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever encountered. If you have an issue, expect to be passed from one department to another, each representative asking for the same information repeatedly, wastiny time every time between 30 minutes to 45 minutes of my time without providing any real solution. After speaking to multiple agents, I was told to go to the store, only to be sent back to online support. When I contacted them again, I was informed that their system was down, forcing them to process my request manually—yet still, nothing was resolved! This isn’t my first bad experience with Best Buy. The last time I dealt with them was in 2010, and I had completely forgotten how terrible their service was. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of giving them another chance, and I deeply regret it. If you value your time and expect even basic customer service, stay far away from Best Buy. They are incompetent, inefficient, and completely incapable of resolving customer issues. Consider yourself warned

I usually don't buy extended warranties but with a larger expensive purchase I wanted to protect my investment.

Great Warranty. I get Coverage on Accidental Damage & anything that can cause my Television to break

I bought the 2 year plan with my last TV. Decided on the 5 year for the bigger, better TV I purchased.

Had a problem with my tv soon after purchase and they fixed in a prompt and professional manner.

I always get the Geek Squad protection plan on all my major purchases. Their service is amazing.

I can use my TV without any worries knowing that my protection plan will cover me if a problem arises.

I signed up for the 5 years extended warranty in hopes that it won't be necessary. . .

Whenever i need help, i always go to geek squad. That's why i always buy their protection services.

It would be a bad idea to buy a new electronic that you spent $100's on and not buy an extended warranty.

Great service. Members are nice and helpful. I would recommend it, especially for open box items.
