for big tv's this warranty is better than the manufacturers extended warranty. In some cases it may cost more, but the coverage is much better with geek squad than with LG's plan for TV's

The geek squad is Everything and then some! Do not sleep on the Geek Squad

I purchased the 5 year protection plan for my new Sony TV just because these newer sets are actually computers....too much that can go wrong. Though it states 5 years, it's really only 4 years because the first year is under the manufacturer warranty. Save the box! I had a 5 year extended warranty on my last tv and it broke in the sixth year.

I purchased the 2 year Geek Squad for my new Roku TV and haven't actually used it yet, but it covers any damage and even if something as small as two pixels going dead on the screen and they'll replace it so I'd say for an extra $30 it's well worth it.

Haven’t had to use it yet, but always good to protect your investment.

They did an incredible job mounting my tv ans were helpful how to set up. I will use them again

I always believe it is better to be safe than sorry, and definitely that applies to consumer purchases. For the price of a 5-year warranty and the Best Buy customer service that comes with it, it was an easy smart purchase! Always buy the warranty.

Great solution for my father-in-law who lives in Florida. We live in Illinois. This will hopefully ensure he will have a working TV for many the next 5 years without any hastle.

I have purchased televisions from Best Buy on several occasions and have always obtained the extended warranty offered by the geek squad. It is a great insurance program to ensure that your electronics me expectations and can be replaced if need be.

Bought a 83” lg oled, so I wanted to be protected for the 5 years in case anything happened.

The protection is well worth the cost of the package. When purchasing a high cost item and item company can't repair it, the warranty program will credit the cost towards a new item.

Finally a good, decent tv for what is actuslly a good price. This is what tv prices should be so everyone can enjoy them.

Geek Squad service is great, just when your TV dumps after having it almost 4 years. Got a brand new TV and Geek Squad delivered my new TV, and took away the old broken one. Great service and friendly folks that explained all that was needed.

Unless you are an IT expert I would recommend Geek Squad to everyone. Just pick up the phone and call them. Hard at one time to get through to them but, now it's easier.
