I always purchase the Geek squad service. I watch a lot of television. My tvs break down, I take them in and the Geek squad service is honored. I get a new tv.

What I do not like about the warranty is that once you use it, you no longer have the warranty in effect. For example, I bought a 3 year warranty on a microwave. It died in 18 months. That's it! Warranty over. I paid for 3 years for the remaining 18 months was non transferable.

Having purchased the Geek squad just gives me peace and security with purchasing my electronics.

Geek squad cleaned up a virus on my computer. I always have great service with them. Would highly recommend getting the maintenance agreement for all your appliances and computers!

For the most part, I have been happy with the extended warranty that comes with my purchases. I also have the Total Tech plans and add this 5-year plan for a 65" Samsung!

I rarely buy extended warranties but I found them to be worthwhile with Best Buy. That added measure of protection is comforting and they always seem to back the item(s) without trouble.

I normally get this protection because it's better having it and not need it, than needing it and not have it. I have used this protections some times and the service that I have received is excellent. You get the service as promised when you buy it.

Geek squad is a great service and i always get it on my electronics. Never used it on a tv though but has been very useful with other purchases
