Not good for Television sets. I never knew and I got one for my tv. The screen broke and it was not covered. Got a return for the unutilized portion

I have tried to use the Geek Squad a couple of times, and I have been disappointed with their service.

The agent came and figured out the problem quickly

I got a 50” tv about a month ago i turned it on this morning and one part of the tv screen was black i took it to bestbuy mind you i got a 5 YEAR warrenty on it they told me i would have to pay $50 to get it shipped out and then would recieve a call about how much it would he to fix it and them proceeded to tell me they could drop my warrenty and i would have to buy a brand new tv. What is the point of a warrenty if they are just gonna make me pay for it. Very disappointed im not buying from this store again. Do Better.

Something I always got to be sure but never ever had to use it and I am noe thinking from now on it might not be worth it!!!

I purchased this protection for my new fire smart TV. Haven't had to use it yet, so I guess that is a good thing.

Have not used this service at the present time. But I do plan to once a problem arises.

I have had some electronics and a TV go bad before its supposed lifetime. It stinks to spend the extra, but we all are happy to have insurance when we need it

I purchased the extended warranty, but haven't used it so don't know if it was worth paying the extra money. I suppose it does give you a peace of mind.

Five year plan purchased with the TV. Price was reasonable but will update review if we have to use the policy.

I’m not sure of the Geek squad I’ve never had to use it for this tv. If I ever need to, I will let you know.

Well where to start. I am no dummy to computers. I had the extended warranty on my desk top. It started doing shutting down so I know something was breaking. I took it in and the first thing they told me is that I have a virus. Well I know it didn't have a virus. They did something and I took it home well it was still acting up. I took it back they said I needed to buy this geek squad because my extended warranty didn't cover them looking at it. I paid another 99.00 for it. Then again they said it had a virus I said no it dose not. After a bit they said they would keep it and do more checking. Well they called in a few days to tell me the motherboard was going out on it. I said well that sure isn't a virus. Now the motherboard is covered under that extended warranty. I should not of had to buy the geek squad. So after a month they had to send it out and get fixed. I picked it up they said it was already to go. I said great lets plug it in and see it start. Well go thing I did because they mounted the motherboard crooked and could not plug in the monitor cable plus another. they had to take it apart and redo it. So yes I was upset. I live a hour from Best Buy. And if I didn't make them show it was working I would of drove all the way home to find out I couldn't hook it up, then drive all they way back. Also, one of the kids said if you don't like it too bad and something else which I do not remember.

when buying my tv they talked me into this stupid warranty, said any issues just bring it up here and we will have geek squad fix it. So 2 years later the tv had lines all over it, i package it up in its original box and take it up to best buy. They said sorry we can help you call geek squad, but im at the geek squad counter. I call and they tell me i have to take the tv back home re mount it on my wall and have them come pick it up from my house. seriously?

This is a good thing to have on any electronica items of value. Much easier than dealing with the manufacturer.

Haven’t had to use this yet. I did have one question but I was able to figure it out without the help.

I have purchased Geek Squad extended warranties for decades spending into the $1,000’s +. I finally try and use it and it is beyond terrible. They are having a 3rd party repair shop fix it however the repair shop can’t reach the special services department of Geek Squad so they have told me that I have too call them. I have collectively spent over 7 hours on hold for them and have yet to reach this special department within Geek Squad. I tell everyone to purchase from them vs Amazon but now I have to change that. Just give me a new TV.

The geek squad doesn't come up in Best Buy computer. I wanted them to tune the yv, but they say we don't have geek squad.
