Had this on a Vizio With 3.5 Years remaining. TV called for service. Tech was at my house for 3 minutes and said it cant be fixed . They couldn't replace it unless I went to the store. When at the store I lost the balance of the protection plan and there was not a TV that was equal to mine so I had to come up with an additional $400 to get one.

Just bought the protection plan. Covers lightening strikes which lots of similar plans don't. Haven't needed it yet, but it looks good.

Got this for my new tv. I've used it in the past and it seems to be worth the cost.
