I had a five-year plan on my previous TV which went up unexpectedly. It took a couple weeks to have the TV looked at but they found it done. When they issued the replacement they gave me full value towards the new one. I actually upgraded my TV from the 50 inch switch died to a new 55 inch same brand for about 30 bucks!

In my opinion not all items need a protection plan, but for a tv in my house, needed! Tv's are so light weight and the screens are more sensitive to a cats flying attack of images on screen, the "opps I missed " thrown balls or the backswing in sword play, and of course the accidental discharge of an airsoft gun's bb's. Then for the normal household ,things like surge protection, pixel loss, speaker crackling and now days the "Smart" portions of the tv. So I say yes to tv protection plans.

I have purchased service warrantees in the past with the hopes of not needing to submit a claim but have confidence in having the coverage due to positive past experience.

This was a great deal included in new tv/soundbar purchase.

Hopefully we won't need to use this warranty but wanted to make sure we had it just in case.. I'm so tired of buying stuff they come with a 1 year warranty after the 1 year warranty they fall apart.

I was interested in this product because of the price and the brand. I haven't had any problems for more than 6 years and it was a Christmas gift for father in-laws.

Great buy for protection of your electronics a must have

So far have not had to use them but bought this with other high end purchases will surely ease your mind on things especially if you are buying items worth up to and past $200.

The Geed Squad service was outstanding! The representatives communicated frequently to let me know the status of their arrival, and were professional during the service call.

Good protection for worry free purchase. We got a Hisense TV and worried about it’s longevity so purchased the extra insurance just in case. However the TV had so many problems out of the box we returned it within the 14 days.

Exellent! So glad I did this. Pros fast, came out and diagnosed within a week, replaced my tv great customer service stateside. WELL worth the cost. Cons call center transferred overseas dropped calls twice after long wait times. Couldnt purchase protection plan over the phone for replacement had to go into Best Buys store to repurchase.

We have purchased this coverage on another TV and it really paid off for us! The TV had a defect after 3 years of use and this protection coverage replaced it. Of course the model was discontinued so they gave us another TV... for the same amount we had paid 3 years earlier! We were upgraded to a state of the art TV with all the bells and whistles! It is worth investing in this coverage!! We will always purchase it for our high end purchases!

I like the added protection the family enjoys it. It gives you peace of mind, especially with young children.
