A 5 year warranty is essential for tv models above $400. 1 or 2 problems, it will pay for itself. Don't have to mail it to the company, just take it to the closest Best Buy or have them work on it at your home, for large screen models. Wish they would refund half the cost of the warranty if there were no problems.

With two years available for a guarantee this is the main reason for our buy..

So far, no complaints - hopefully I won't have to use it ever!

I haven't had to use the repair service, but I like having a little extra insurance while my TV is "new". In the past I had to have a TV replaced and was able to do so with this service. Highly recommend.
