I buy this protection with each of my TVs. Has always been worth it.

You should always get the protection. Best Buy is really good about helping when needed.

I'm glad that Best Buy offers a warranty in addition to the one from Sony the 5 years gives me peace of mind for my investment.

This has been the complete failure for TV replacement. Manufacture only touts that they are working on firmware updates and keep asking us to wait until they fix the issues and then bestbuy keeps touting that it is only up to the manufacture to handle all the issues within the first year. Have been stuck with a frustrating family situation when ever we try and turn the set on and make it work right with the new gaming machines. This turned out to be a big joke. BestBuy is certainly no longer the company they used to be. They took care of us for years and the last 3 -4 years has been a nightmare of experiences and Sams and Walmart have never failed to just address the problem and take care of it immediately and on several products we didn’t even have the extended warranty. They just seem to stand up for the consumer and try to do the right thing, not the corporate thing. We have since stopped over 33 people and family from doing any future business with BestBuy.

I will attempt to update as needed after the manufacturer's TV warranty lapses. Be aware that Geek does not take affect until it does. I had an issue with an outlet purchased TCL TV and the Geek's basically told me take a hike. I did, to the TCL customer service and TCL warranty service was Great. So, I still have to wait 5 months to see the Geek service is any where near as good.

This is an excellent protection plan and I have brought from every product I buy from Best Buy, but never had to use it.

Feel relieved in case anything happened to my purchase. My protection is worth the money.

I haven’t used the geek squad protection plan yet, but it’s good to know that the product i purchased is covered.
