    The Protection Plan is worth the price!

    Bought the protection plan with my TV back in 2017. The picture on the TV started to go with only a couple months left on the protection plan. Contacted GeekSquad and they diagnosed the issue and replaced my TV. I got credited for the TV I bought in 2017 and they waved the delivery and haul away charges, which allowed me to afford to upgrade my TV because all I had to pay was the difference. Highly recommended.

    Glad to know my TV is protected by Geek Squad. My TV is protected for 5 years for a convenient price. Last TV was destroyed during moving not taking the same chances again.

    This is a great protection plan that worked out for me when I needed it. I had a very small dead pixel on my TV and Geek squad came to review it and the issue was quickly resolved as I was given a gift card to get a new TV.

    [Employee of bestbuy] Geek Squad services are always hassle-free, I never buy anything and don't attach a plan if its available, cause you never know. I also love I don't have to deal with a third party

    Added this to help my mom out. Super cool that tvs over 45 inches, they come to you. So you don’t have to lug around the tv

    I keep my Geek Squad Protection plan as an on going safety net for all of my electronic gear. At age 80, I have no interest in doing this kind of stuff on my own. It is really great to know that these guys are on the ball and know what they are doing, I have had to use the "plan" at least four times a year, and have been consistently by the thoughtful staff who have either over the phone, on line, or in the store have walked me through some technical problem AND solved the problem and gotten me back to work. As a "senior", I really appreciate the skill and courtesy of their staff.

    Great to have this just in case something goes wrong. I bout it and the one time I used it my tv died got money back. I forgot about the warranty I had but got an email to renew or it will expire!! That’s how I got $$ back! Just for that reason alone I bought another warranty!

    Always Splurge on the 5-Year Geek Squad Protection

    I always splurge for the 5 year Best Buy Extended Warranty because I sleep better at night knowing that if I have any issue with any of my TV's that are 43 inches and up, which are all of them, that Geek Squad will come out to look at them and take care of any issue other that physical damage caused by neglect etc. Most people are unaware that a one year manufacture warranty means that after the 15,30 or 45th day that one is allowed to return an item for a refund or exchange means that you will be left to deal only with the TV manufacture. I equate that to being on a raft in the middle of the ocean.

    I purchased this for my previous Toshiba tv which stopped working the third year. I called them, they were very nice and told me that model TV wasn’t able to be repaired and immediately issued me a store credit for full refund of purchase price to replace the tv. It was so easy, no problem. So of course I purchased the five year warranty on this replacement tv. Well worth it. Geek squad was very helpful.

    Excellent combo with the TV, pictures are so vivid!!! Makes the game come alive!! Didn't even have to adjust pic or sound!! Amazing quality!! I recommend it to any gamer!! And geek squad keeps it safe too!!

    Honesty in a World of Mediocrity! Worth the Cost!

    I purchased the five-year protection plan on our old TV 4 1/2 years ago. With only six months left on the plan, the old TV started losing its connection to the internet and the menus began malfunctioning and didn't respond as intended. After attempting to repair the old TV without success, Geek Squad honored the plan and refunded every dime of the purchase price and also the plan price. How do you beat that? No wonder their Number ONE in customer service and support! Needless to say, I bought a new TV with a new five-years plan.

    I actually worked at bestbuy years ago and protection plans were a hard sell, they are extremely expensive and rarely used, but as an ex employee i also saw customers come in and buy their dream TV just to have a storm pop it a week later, or the most memorable story was a child pouring juice all over a tv as the mom was unpacking it. It’s a sad conversation to have when you know someone has been saving for something and it’s gone in seconds and theirs really nothing you can do. It’s like buying your dream car, wrecking it and taking it back to the dealer and asking for another.... I HATE BUYIJG PROTECTION PLANS but I do it every time now. One day one of these plans is going to pay for all of the plans I’ve ever bought.

    The Tv great sinks with everything easy to set no issues with connecting to internet a lot different options to connect with everything like ipad , iPhone etc.

    I really don't like the idea of needing additional protection beyond the warranty. But, on a HI-Def TV I felt it was best to buy it. The sale rep told me that Best Buy had recently lowered the price of their service plans and it did seem reasonable for five years. Even consumer articles are recommending a protection plan of new TV's with the expense and hassle of getting them repaired under warranty. I was told that to have LG repair it under warranty if needed be sent to them. If it's true of not, I have read that some plans do require you to ship it to them. A TV is too much trouble to attempt this with. In the last 8 years of flat screen ownership I've only needed 1 repair. It was in the last month of the first warranty I'd purchased and was a good experience.

    The geek squad is so helpful when you have technical issues or defective devices. They are so reliable and competent with their knowledge and expertise. This is the best thing to have to bring you comfort in knowing if anything goes wrong, you are covered fir immediate repairs.
