You hope you never have to use this protection because that means that something went wrong with your purchase. But if something dies go wrong it’s worth the price. The only downside it’s it’s dependent on availability. Meaning mu phone cracked and needed to be replaced. They were quick to write up giving me another one but they didn’t have it in stock. So, I had to go to another store to find it. Besides that it’s amazing.

Geek Squad 5 year standard protection. lets me know that if something happens to my TV in the first 5 years. Including damage from lighting. I am covered. There Tech support and technicians are some of the best I ever come across. I would recommend a Geek Squad extended warranty to anyone who shops at Bets Buy.

Just for the overall piece of mind I would implore people to buy the extended warranty on ALL major electronics purchases! You have such a great knowable staff with the Geek Squad just waiting to help you in all aspects of your life with such product! I recently was able to get a brand new replacement Smart TV from Best Buy because I had this plan! I usually do buy extended protection plans and have never regretted doing so--especially when I hear friends and family say they have expensive repairs on electronics that are out of warranty.

When I purchased a TV through Best buy I was given a geek squad protection discount of $100 so I took advantage of it and have been using it the whole time. I've had surveillance cameras put up, home speakers installed and ethernet cable ran with this service this is an awesome deal.

I purchased protection on my last TV, which stopped working out of nowhere. A Geek Squad member tried some trouble shooting techniques & ordered a spare part. Upon his second visit, the part didn't fix the issue. He ordered the upgraded version. I didn't have to pay anything for the TV nor his service.

About 15 months after purchasing my 65 inch Hisense TV it developed a problem. Periodically, I would have to unplug the TV and then plug it back in in order to get it to turn on. The Geek Squad was unable to secure the parts necessary to correct this problem, so they delivered and installed a new TV. I was very pleased with this outcome and the prompt service.
