Previously I was against extended warranties however I had an issue with another TV I purchased several years ago and of course it happened 2 months after the manufacture warranty was not valid. It wont up costing me over $250 to repair and I had to wait a month. Geek Squad protection is worth it bc you never know when you might need it!!!!!

Tv picture went out almost completely.. called up and let them know. Had a new tv delivered the next day and they removed the old tv... great service

I alway purchase Geek squad Protection. It is a very wise thing to do. You never know when you will need it. All you have to do is call Best Buy for them to come out to your house. It is very wise to purchase it. They do very good work.

Everything i buy gets a Geek Squad protection plan. I bought the plan with my 32 inch tv. For the small amount of money I feel I am covered. I have used their coverage before on TVs....these digital tvs are not built like the televisions of yesteryear. I have used them several times on other items and have never been disappointed.

Haven’t needed it yet, but you live and learn! Our last tv stopped working at less than 4 years! Now it’s 5 years of worry-free!

Haven't had to use it yet but the claimed support problems are great and like the convenience of dealing with them through bestbuy. I'll update the review of I ever end up using this warranty for tv repair over time. Reasonable price for 3 yrs of coverage.

The coverage provided by this service gives a peace of mind that is unparalleled, and for a length of time that I’ve never seen with any other store warranty and certainly not at this extremely affordable price point.

I purchased this only because my GeeK Squad tech support would not cover the TV and I have the regular tech support for electronics and I have yet to have a problem as I have had to take my computer in 3 times and has been fixed. I figured this protection plan will be a good idea should something happen in the next 5 years.

Haven’t had to use it yet but have had geek Squad service several times in the past year and frankly, where I am, they’ve been so good that I always try to purchase through Best Buy.

The extended warranty is a bit pricey but still consider it worth the price should it be needed in the future,

This 5 year warranty was inexpensive protection for a tcl tv that I didn’t know much about. It will save me a lot of worry now that I have it.

Glad I purchased the 5 year protection plan because I don’t think it’s that good of a tv.

TVs aren't lasting as long as they used to. Sometimes less than a year before they develop a critical issue. This takes the worry and hassle out of getting it repaired or replaced.

i have had geek squad insurance for other smaller items, i just hope that (IF) i have to use it on my OLED that its worth the $$ spent on this insurance, I have been assured that its worth it. we see, well I hope not right?

I purchased the 5 year plan. When researching OLED TVs, burn in seemed to be something that many prolly mentioned was a possibility. I went with Best Buy in the end because if their great warranty that covers burn in. It was a no brainer really.

A must have for your expensive purchases and make sure to get the max time ones because things usually break after the 3yr mark.

It would be stupid not to purchase the geek squad plan when buying a samsung tv for the price, because after you own the tv for maybe a month, you will get an insurance packet from samsung, after registering your tv online. It is extremely expensive, while geek-squad if you purchase minimum of 2 years you can renew it when the 2 years is up.
