I purchased a TV with 5 years protection plan. After experiencing a problem, I contacted Best Buy, expecting support through the 5-year protection plan I purchased. To my surprise, they told me their protection doesn’t start until after the 1-year Samsung warranty ends, and refused to take responsibility. I then had to go through Samsung, who eventually admitted they couldn't fix the issue and ended up refunding me for the TV and taking it back. When I returned to Best Buy to get a refund for the protection plan (since the product was no longer with me), they said it was already "in use" and deducted money for the days that had passed, even though they never actually provided any service or support. they refused to give me support and pushed me to contact Samsung. Don’t trust Best Buy. They sell expensive products, and even if you purchase their protection plan, they’ll find a way to dodge responsibility. You're better off buying elsewhere.

Although I've only used this service once it was a great experience, very friendly, courteous and responsive.

Haven’t had to use it yet, but the peace of mind is worth it. My experience with Geek Squad is very positive.

Geek squad is the best type of protection plan you can get. Theyll come to your house if the TV's big enough!

for the money it performs great. built in vizio apps need work it's a tad slow. decent amount of calibration options. wish it had the 32 zone back light feature like the m-series.

You never know when a tv is going to go out. I got a 5 year warranty because it will b ready to replace it anyway.

Good to see that this TV has a two year warranty on this expensive item.

Good to have insurance specially when its at such a great price and will bring you a peace of mind.
