Always opt for the 5 year plan. Units tend to fail after 3 years. The cost to replace it goes up as well. This coverage keeps the ouchies away when replacing items.

We have always added geek squad service warranties to every product that buy. Geek squad has also been very helpful over the years when taking care of any product issues.

My westinghouse 46" died on me luckily right before 4 yr warranty expired. Used warranty to purchase this cheaper tv, but it's bigger, better quality pic, picks up more free channels with the antennnae and got another 5 yr warranty. Had $150 leftover to finally buy me a keurig 2.0. Very pleased with Best buy warranty program. No need to hang on to receipt, all info stays in your best buy account if you need to use the warranty.

Usually never get the protection plan until my Samsung went out after 6 months. Reason we got a Sony and protection

Includes burn in protection, 5 years is great for early oled tech that still have a small risk of burn in. I’ll be fully utilizing this if any burn in or dead pixels arise.

Honestly, they was on point. I had an appointment. They worked on my phone soon as I arrived. I had 2 issues this year with different phones.

I would recommend you always buy this added protection. Of course, during the Covid shut down, it was impossible to get service, but once I did, they came out, checked my TV and I ended up with a new TV. Totally worth the little bit of extra cost.

It seems like whenever I finally need to use GeekSquad for something important.. they are unable to assist. A little frustrating, I don't pay for extra protection because doesn't seem worth it to me

I would not buy any electronics without the Geed Squad service protection. It has been proven to be a great value for years!

I usually go both ways on insurance type plans, but Best Buy Geek Squad is worth every penny. My tv needed replacement within the time and they literally put the purchase price on a gift card for me to buy the new tv I wanted. A+ for customer service.

I always purchase the Geek Squad Protection. I travel a lot and have needed the protection. Best Buy has always been there no matter where I am in the country. My product was always fixed or replaced without any problems.

The geek squad agents hung the TV to the existing mount showed us how of operate the tv and remote. They were quick and efficient.

The 5 year protection plan was offered and honored without any problems in an expeditious manner.

Its pretty much mandatory to get a warranty on a controller, better to have the warranty and not need it than to need one and not have it.

Anything over the size of a tablet I always get extra insurance. Always always ask if protection you buy starts after the one year warranty or immediately each place is different

So glad to be able to have this protection because with having 3 boys in the house, you never know what could happen.
