I know, I know. "these plans are for suckers" All I have to say is that with out the plan on my old unit Id be shelling out $1000+ to buy a new one. All i had to do was call Geek Squad and they sent someone out to fix it. A week later they said they couldn't get the part and and told me to go into the store and pick out a new one. very easy process

I just love the idea of a 5 year Geek Squad Protection plan. It covers everything including lightening. We live in Florida so that could be important. I do hope I never need to use this reasonably priced product!

Haven’t had any issues with the tv to use it but for the reviews that o have seen should be a great service I always look @ the review and it sounds great

I have exchanged tjings that was damaged and lost. They honored the protection plan and i got a new replacement.

Protection is definitely a necessity and Best Buy is elite and stand behind their sales 100% highly recommended you cant go wrong they offer the best protection for your money vs any other store.....

I’m elderly and not good with computers so it absolutely pays me to have help,ALOT. The Geeksquad is available anytime, their nice, patient, understanding and very helpful. I came in broken, confrontational and having a melt down. The Geek Squad handled me with kid gloves and made the world right again. They calmed me down, explained what the steps were to rectify the problem and then took action to get it done. They didn't make me feel stupid or inept. Outstanding Customer Service!!!

There is no other store that provides the same protection as Geek Squad. I get it on everything I buy! They make it so simple, and if I ever have a problem, I feel safe. I have had to replace 2 different items in the past year. With other stores, i feel like I am being interrogated. Not at Best Buy. Here's the problem, here's the replacement. Done!

Hopefully it pays off. Sometimes it's a gamble and your stuff actually lasts as long as appliances and TV's use to last.

I always get the 5 year insurance on my large tv purchases. These newer TV's are like computers. Never had a problem with my Sony tv but if I'm dropping 3 grand, I need some assurance it won't just randomly die and then I need to get another one.

Being that I have had on TV hit by lightning and a burnt ends on an old lady it I prefer to use Geek Squad affordable cars if they cannot fix it they will replace it or you will get your money back with no problems has been my experience using them

Very responsive and helpful! They made this unfortunate experience of my television going down a great, stress free experience.

Had no real issues with the TV except for a very occasional mute effect. I would need to turn it off and on again. I had bought a warranty for it and BB came through
