You can't beat the extra protection for the expensive items that you purchase just in case something happens unexpectedly.

Gotta have this if your buying expensive equipments for your house.

I would not purchase an expensive TV without a extra warranty. By the time it runs out, I'll be ready for a new TV, but in the meantime....

You never know about electronics. I purchased a new Song tv 5 years ago. I over paid for the Sony, and had nothing but problems with it.

I almost always get the extended protection, and it has come in handy a few times with hassles.
