never had a 4k tv ever but this was an amazing purchase

Many people tell me these warranties aren't worth it. My Hisense TV started to fail 4 years into ownership. Called BB protection and since they no longer sell that model had me pick out a new one at the same price (Found one that was pricier but on sale) and they delivered the new TV and took the old away the next day. Great service.

In my instance, it was a lifesaver because I had a problem with my tv. The geek squad came immediately & exchanged it. I was wonderfully pleased. Initially i was hesitant because i nave 3 other Samsungs & never had a problem. It was the best decision.

I’m glad I added the 2-Year Protection Plan to my purchase. It covers accidents like drops, spills, and power surges, giving me real peace of mind. Signing up was fast, and customer service was helpful. The price was fair, and there are no hidden fees if I ever need to file a claim. Definitely worth it to protect a big investment.

Well worth it considering most new TV’s only last 5-7 years tops. This way I am covered and can maybe save money in long run.

I recently tried this product and overall, I’m quite satisfied with it. The quality feels solid, and it performs as expected. It’s easy to use, looks good, and seems durable enough for everyday use.

Repair man came out today to check out my TV not holding antenna channels. Great not to have to pay for the trip.

I bought a TV that started flickering and having major screen issues right after the manufacturer’s warranty expired (of course). I took it back to the store and hey we’re able to send it out because I bought the extra coverage. It took a couple of weeks to diagnose but they contacted me today to tell me that they’re refunding me (in the form of a gift card) what I paid for the TV to put towards any purchase from Best Buy. This is why I buy extended/ enhanced warranties on most electronics. Most of these companies that administer these warranties are very reputable and honor claims that fall within the parameters of the coverage. Most people have unreasonable expectations and suffer from a sense of entitlement the size of a house and therefore claim that these types of coverage are “scams” or “Rip offs” because they fail to take a moment to actually find out what is covered and how the claims procedures work. Frank Zappa once said “Stupidity has a certain charm. Ignorance does not.” Nowhere is that more true than the world of the entitled consumer. Buy the warranty or don’t complain because almost all electronics these days are designed to fail.

Haven’t had to use it, but always plan ahead. I have heard great things about the service of the geek squad.

If you can, I recommend getting Geek Squad protection on electronics such as tv's. A few years ago, I purchased a smart tv for my son and had it for about a year before it completely went kaputt. It always had issues toggling properly through the apps and would sometimes take ten minutes switching from one app to the other. Luckily, I did purchase Geek Squad protection and was able to get another tv since there was no way of fixing that one. We went with a different brand and have had no issues since.

Just what I needed to make sure everything goes right a backup plan and it's five year plan is that backup plan..

I researched for MONTHS and purchased the Samsung 65" Class Q90T Series QLED 4K UHD Smart Tizen TV, Model: QN65Q90TAFXZA and I wanted the extended warranty for peace of mind on my investment. Best Buy has the Best Extended Warranties of ALL the retailers and I highly recommend them with your very expensive purchases. I service & repair TV's for a living and I know 1st hand how these things fail and it sure is nice when you have an extended warranty on your expensive investment. Especially if you have an LED Backlight failure. It is not cheap however I highly recommend it over an expensive out-of-warranty service cost. I do NOT want to have to service or repair my own brand-new $2k Q-LED TV should it fail within 5 years! On my other cheaper bedroom sets I did not purchase a warranty. But I highly recommend them on your higher-end more expensive purchases!

Well worth purchasing on an expensive oled tv. Reasonable for 5 year warranty.
