Can't really provide an opinion yet, as we have yet to use the warranty. Obviously, the product has to break in order to evaluate the extended warranty service. But hopefully the warranted product will never have to be serviced under the warranty period.

Had to use my extended warranty. Best Buy was very helpful and took care of the problem. They credited the full cost of my old tv to my new tv, Would recommend the extended warranty. It saved me a lot of money. Happy customer.

Bought the protection plan with my TV back in 2017. The picture on the TV started to go with only a couple months left on the protection plan. Contacted GeekSquad and they diagnosed the issue and replaced my TV. I got credited for the TV I bought in 2017 and they waved the delivery and haul away charges, which allowed me to afford to upgrade my TV because all I had to pay was the difference. Highly recommended.

I purchased the five-year protection plan on our old TV 4 1/2 years ago. With only six months left on the plan, the old TV started losing its connection to the internet and the menus began malfunctioning and didn't respond as intended. After attempting to repair the old TV without success, Geek Squad honored the plan and refunded every dime of the purchase price and also the plan price. How do you beat that? No wonder their Number ONE in customer service and support! Needless to say, I bought a new TV with a new five-years plan.

I would highly recommend the 5-year standard Geek Squad Protection plan for anyone looking to safeguard their valuable electronics. The comprehensive coverage and expert support make it a worthwhile investment.

Bought the TV in 2019. Power board failed and replaced in 2020. With warranty still left in 2024 the TV fails again and they tell me it possibly won’t be covered/will be junked. What’s the purpose of the warranty???

Have not used the protection service yet. I hope I never have too. That's the reason I only gave it 4 stars. I hated even to rate it until I use it if I ever do. I believe there is a time limit on rating it. I do know they did a very nice jog delivering it and installing it.

Our first TV has multiple programs; Best Buy told us we could return it and come in and choose a new TV. TV problems was NOT Best Buy fault. Just one of those Lemons you can get from time to time. They sent Jonathan to our Home from the Geek Squad. We were very satisfied with his Service. Very thorough in explaining operation of our new TV. Feeling confident with the operating of our TV was his Top Priority. (They also take back the other TV that had problems). Best Buy is the place to buy any Electronics because of their Sales People and the Geek Squad, they are all very well trained.

Thankfully, I have not had to utilize the incredibly beneficial Geek Squad services quite yet, but it's refreshing to know they are available if needed
