Asked Best Buy geek squad to honor their warranty on our 350$ LG microwave and was told I have to pay to have the microwave uninstalled and give it to them for 8 weeks in order for them to fix it. They obviously want to make it so cost/time prohibitive that I just buy a new microwave. Geek squad is a scam and I will never deal with them again.

I really enjoy my new tv. I'm able to take it with me at the in laws so great.

My experience with Geek squad at Best Buy over the last decade hasnt been great. Wait times are very long. I guess it better than buying an entirely new device.

How do I grade a warranty? If something were to happen, I'm sure I'll love it.

My tv had an issue and the squad made it very simple to have it replaced

Although I havent had any problems yet, a 5 year warranty is pretty reassuring.

I called on 8-12-23 to get someone to come out and repair my tv. It has vertical lines that come up randomly and shut the tv down. I was first told there were "no appointments" and since it was still under manufacture's warranty I should reach out to Samsung. Well I PAID for the Geek Squad protection so please look further out. She gave me an October 6th appt date. That is not good customer service. I'm surprised the Geek Squad has a 2 month waiting list.

It's been almost 2 years but till now I haven't used this service.

Never again ill pay for a geek squad service they just to be great but after the pandemic they schedule your service for 1 month from the date you request and then they justify your issue and they dont replace your item like in the past

My TV had a large crack in the middle, and was unusable. It was not able to be installed until 16 days after purchase, 6 days after delivery. I called with my warranty information, someone came out, and said it wasn't covered and there was nothing they could do. 100% NEVER BUY THIS PROTECTION OR ANYTHING EXPENSIVE FROM BEST BUY EVER. Worst. decision. ever.

Very disappointed I will never recommend this for nobody. I was misled by employee that sold me the protection plan said that I was gone have a full protection for this product and when I contact the Conpany they don’t helped and they only Ofer to give me the protection plan money back !! Ridiculous the way I was treated

I always get stuck in the middle on whether I should buy protection or not.

After two failed attempts to fix my TV, I was left with only one option, to have my money returned and purchase a new TV. I lost 2 months of warranty, and had to purchase a smallet TV with NO warranty, because the prices have went up from when I purchased my TV. I only had the option to refund my money after a very professional and courteous technician came to replace two different circuit boards which didnt work. I feel like I lost out on my warranty and doubt to purchase again.

Do not waist your time getting Geek Squad protection for any Televisions. The coverage has so many loop holes that your product and purchase is not covered. If it should be the service technician’s are trained to find another reason to consider major purchase not covered. I recommend not buying a big ticket item from Best Buy.

I bought this item Jan 21st 2022. Two weeks after the Geek squad protection ran out on Feb 8th 2024 the tv suddenly stopped showing a picture. Insignia is a brand owned by Best Buy. I have never experienced such a thing before. I feel as if I've been ripped off and know with certainty that I will never shop there again.

I was experiencing shadowing on my screen. Guy came out and accused us of dropping tv saying he could see gaps. I was within 1yr of samsung warranty so called them instead. They saw no gaps and promptly replaced my screen. I would like my $86 back that I paid for this non protection agreement
