I have had bad luck with smaller flat screen TVs (that lasted only 2-3 years) so I decided it was worth getting. If the TV becomes unusable, they will repair or replace it.

After purchasing a fairly expensive TV, the extra $$ spent for the Geek Squad protection package gives you peace of mind in case something does go wrong with your purchase.

Nice customer service, tv was great with nice quality

I'm finally writing a review for this tv. I had a thunderstorm about a few months after purchase and the quality of the tv hasn't been the same. I reached out to best buy to come fix my tv and just like most of you said, I had to contact Hisense to come out. because of the Manufacture first year warranty. Three tv specialist have been to my home and nothing has changed. The picture isn't sharp/clear at all anymore. I was told that I have to deal with this tv until after the one-year warranty is over. I couldn't believe I had to wait this long to enjoy my tv. Withing this timeframe I went back to best buy and brought another 85-inch tv which I'm happy with. I agree with one of you said, why did I pay for a 5-year warranty when it really a 4-year warranty? My one year is coming up, and I hope best buy can take care of their loyal customers. But I wouldn't recommend this tv for anyone. The worst tv I ever brought.

It is a must when buying a new tv. Instead of having to deal with the manufacture they come out and provide better service.

Always good to have your electronics protected. And the fact i buy most my electronics from BB its an all in one coverage

I am 73 and don't buy anything without coverage for it anymore as things are way beyond my electronic knowledge.

We bought extended warranty cuz we have needed to use it in prior years on other TV and we had no issues with it.

Haven’t had to use this yet but I’m sure the service they provide is epic. Hopefully I won’t need it for awhile though

Having the plan helps to reassure that I will have a good chance of getting a replacement if my product somehow gets damaged
