I highly suggest using the money you save on purchasing an open boxed item and use it towards a warranty with the geek squad.

Haven't used it so far but I think its a must to take care of any unwanted/unforeseen issues with the product. You get a full replacement.

Great coverage if my stereo has any problems, not many places repair stereo receivers anymore.

It’s OK. If they can’t figure it out they’ll send you to the manufacturer. What I don’t like about the geek squad is that they say that they will install items that are protected by geek squad yet all appliances I have purchased have been dropped off by a third party delivery company. And that company sucks! Finally ask squad what they do install and the only things they are insulators on our electronics and devices that need programming. Everything else is installed by a third rate company

This is a great way to have extra protection for equipment at a reasonable price. I feel better knowing my stereo is protected.

Good to have this device just in case you have questions or need in home needs.
