I recommend almost always getting the Geek Squad protection. They are so much easier to work with than the actual warranty through the company you are buying through.

I haven't had to use the geek squad protection plan yet but from what was described, if they actually cover everything they claim to, its an amazing value! If you have the money, I'd recommend investing in this plan.

This plan covers the accidents that happen when we least expect them to. Screen breaks, covered. Spill your coffee on keyboard, covered. Peace of mind for your technology.
