I always get the Geek squad protection. It eases my mind to know that no matter what happens to my electronics they will be replaced!

Have not had to use this but gives a peaceful feeling to know if I need to it's there

Overall not to happy with this purchase. The basics behind this is if the device can power on then they will work on it but if not then they will offer you an "express replacement" at a preset amount (not ran with current pricing) which in my case was 50 dollars more than the current pricing. In the end it's left to the geek squad's discretion what they do with your device and even though this protection promises a 1 time replacement battery (which is what i wanted) it is not as freely given as advertised,
