I purchased the protection for a TV I bought. I went in the store yesterday spoke with a manager. I made her aware of the situation. She told me the geek squad protection covers for power surges. I told her a power surge caused the TV and the room to catch on fire. I made her aware the TV was not repairable. She told me to bring the TV in it was covered. I brought the TV in today, spoke with a different manager that made me aware it wasn't covered. He stated the protection does cover for a power surge , but because of the shape the TV is in the can't return it. I am totally disappointed. I drove 30 minutes there wasting my time.

The geek squad protection is cheap insurance to have in case of any problems occur.

I feel more secure knowing I have Geek Squad Protection on my precious TV purchase.
