It was ok but could hav been better but u pay 4 what u get.

Asked Best Buy geek squad to honor their warranty on our 350$ LG microwave and was told I have to pay to have the microwave uninstalled and give it to them for 8 weeks in order for them to fix it. They obviously want to make it so cost/time prohibitive that I just buy a new microwave. Geek squad is a scam and I will never deal with them again.

I set up my DVD. I Neve needed the geek squad but I had it if I needed it.

Do not waist your time getting Geek Squad protection for any Televisions. The coverage has so many loop holes that your product and purchase is not covered. If it should be the service technician’s are trained to find another reason to consider major purchase not covered. I recommend not buying a big ticket item from Best Buy.

Great idea for large ticket items. But pretty costly when most quality tvs have no issues lasting two years

Might as well get one just in case anything breaks.

I bought this item on July 8,2023 and scheduled for delivery on July 24 that was change by BB to the 28. When I received the range it was damaged. I spoke with Maria from costumer service and rescheduled a new range for August 8, once again BB change delivery date for the 14 and then again for the 26. Second deliver second range damage. Now 50 days sconce y bought my range and paid for it I don’t have a range or a posible day of delivery. Costumer Service where are you???? The rating is for CS…

The in store sales represent assured us this covered any warranty issues or damage. Fully covered in case "you drop it in the parking lot". Within 6 months of the original purchase the TV was unfortunately damaged and not only will Best Buy not help, their team says so such plan has ever existed. This is a waste of money and a deception. Do not buy.

I have never had to use this protection plan but it’s a nice piece of mind

Don't know if I'll need the protection or or not for my tv, but it gives me a peace of mind for my purchase.

The device we purchased came with a one year factory warranty. We paid $20 for a two year warranty thinking that we would have a total of three years of warranty on our new device. After the purchase we received an email from Geek Squad that showed our "new extended" warranty was already in effect and would expire two years from the date of purchase. We asked about this several times before we checked out and between the up-sale we were getting for not choosing the five year warranty for only $10 more than the two year $20 warranty we chose instead. The associate did not seem to understand what we were asking and just continued to tell us what was not covered (dropping the TV, getting the TV wet, etc). We went to the store late to purchase the tv because our current tv had just went out so we were trying to get out of the store before 10:00pm and back home as soon as we could. The only reason we went to the store that late was the tv we wanted was on sale just through that day. I feel like we made a $20 mistake on a $149 TV. Live and learn.

Extended warranty for tv purchased for extra value and peace of mind.

I haven't had to use yet, but I'm sure it will be worth the value.

The extra protection this Geek Squad plan gives me makes me feel more confident in my purchasing decision.

the TV picture quality is nice for the size (75 inch), however it gets pretty warm very quick

Do NOT buy this coverage, it literally covers nothing and is almost impossible to actually use. Instead go with the warranty package from Amazon or Verizon. This only covers issues related to manufacturer defects. After this experience I am no longer a best buy customer.
