Take about a month to fix tv if its over 42"
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The worst 100 dollar warranty for tv larger than 42 inches take my tv to best buy with receipt to exchange can't i have to set appointment for to come your house took over 2 weeks make sure u not lying about your broke tv then set another appointment that took over a week to come back to your house to fix it

Worst experience ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I was experiencing some issues with my new LG TV, I called the Geek Squad twice and visited the Geek Squad In-Store Counter once. On the first call, the representative solution to my issues was to return it and buy a different brand. He also commented that he didn't like LG's. Really??? On the second call, the representative told me that I must have programmed it incorrectly, and that I should schedule a professional installation for a small fee of $149.99. Why would I pay $149.99 for an installation fee if I just purchased the two-year protection plan??? When I visited the in-store counter with the same issues, the representative told me it must be my cable box and that I should exchange it for another one. If it were my cable box, how come I didn't have an issue with my last TV which was connected to the same box??? Needless to say, I returned the service.

Issues with service

Geek squad couldnt help me and sent me to samsung. Samsung needed me to send them my phone and they had it for 2 weeks. The geek squad service rep was great but what they could provide wasn't helpful to the sitiation.

Not worth it

My chord broke off and geek squad they don't cover it. 2nd time I called and my issue wasn't covered they told me to call the manufacturer. Manufacturer said they don't cover parts?? So in confused at the point of the warranty.

POOR SERVICE

Horrible horrible service from geek squad
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Absolute rip off I did a three year on my laptop (luckily I'm tech savvy and cloned the OEM m.2 solid state hard drive to a Samsung Evo 1 TB. Well the point is I came in with a problem I was getting blue screens with a :-( saying problem and I kept boot looping and they said the only thing we cover is cracked screens or external damage no software problems When I purchased it I specifically asked if they do internal and external damage they said yes.

Best Buy closed in my neighborhood so nearest store is 20 miles away!!!! I'm so disappointed with the experience on my expensive gaming laptop that barely lasted 2 years. This is my second or third bad experience with Geek Squad, but baring the unforeseen, my last.

Lousy!!! What a joke!!!

The TV was defective when I bought it but I didn’t notice the issue until recently. They came bully today and told me they need to junk out the TV. They will give me a refund for the TV, but not for the 5-year protection I just purchased two months ago. Is this a joke? Why should I ever buy that kind of protection if they make you buy it all over again if something goes wrong??

Bait and switch

Our TV was dropped while moving it. This protection DOES NOT cover damage to the screen. Had we known it didn't really cover accidents, we would have stuck with the manufacturer warranty
