    morning I have been sold this extended protection plan as an extended replacement warranty which it is not so buyer beware

    spent $656.95. TV w/ 5 year protection, Installation and one year total tech support. tv delivered with cracked screen via ups, installation, of course, was not performed. canceled order 6/8/20. Almost two months waiting for my refund. NOT HAPPY!!!

    Defeated the purpose of the protection plan when it doesn't cover the main reasons for protection. I had to call one of these geeks and was rude.

    If you have a friend that can help you setting your tv on a stand don't waste your money on this. These guys came in put the TV in place and couldn't figure out the cable remote and how to set it up and if you want your blue ray player or another device plugged in that will cost another $50

    remote stopped working on/off button. thought it would be covered under 2 yr warranty plan with geek squad. they turned me down and so did best buy. poor rating and an unsatisfied customer here. 5 months old.

    We decided to get the protection when we purchased our tv, it broke down and when we decided to go see if they could fix it, they said they could not do nothing about it. It's absolutely not worth having to pay for protection on your tv if when you're going to need them to fix it, they are helpless.

    Not with it basically an upcharge for the same things that your manufacturer warrant covers.

    Cannot connect to internet to watch apps and it is impossible to get to Geek squad to help. Sorry I bought all new equipment at Best Buy

    I dropped off my Lenovo in July 2018 which I purchased in April 2017 from Bestbuy to get repaired for a cracked screen. They quoted me $700.00 to fix a laptop I paid $850.00. They gave me no options and just gave me the laptop back.

    I wasn’t told that the plan only works for replacing the tv with the same amount you bought it for. I got a good deal and the warranty is a waste.

    Complete waste of money! ‘Geek Squad’ isn’t even involved in this service, so the name is deceiving. Simply extends the manufacturers warranty… won’t get me again!

    Last TV I buy from Best Buy. I thought I would be covered by my 5-year geek squad protection plan... But no... Regardless of whats wrong with the TV if there is ANY damage to the screen it voids the protection plan. Wish I knew this before I bought a TV at best buy. Costco at least replaces the TV if the screen is cracked. And Costco will be enjoying all future electronic purchases...

    I feel if a company knows it is selling only quality products then they will stand behind them. As an example: I purchased a sound bar for $400.00 and then bought the extended warranty. The remote buttons wear out every 6 months (true story). My warranty only allows for one replacement over the extended years so it would have been cheaper for me to replace the remote each time.
