    Would it be great to know that they don’t cover accidental damages when I purchased both the TV and protection plan :(

    Son liked the TV however I purchase the Geek Squad in case something happened to his screen . Well it did and not covered ! Not happy was not covered and lost money on this purchase because no one can fix it

    I am sure when they asked I said yes but I bought ALOT of stuff that day, not sure what it is for. Hopefully the TV. Wish this review specified. Glad they asked for a review. The TV was a promo with the phone free or pay more for bigger screen. It is prob for the TV b/c it was practically free.

    Was told by a geek squad agent to buy this warranty, but failed to mention that it doesn’t cover physical damage. Was a waste of money.

    Can’t Get Anyone Out to Check Our TV

    I tried to get someone out to the house to check out our Samsung TV we purchased at Best Buy and no one could come out because there are no geeks in our area. What a rip off.

    Remote stopped working but BB would not freely replace. When something breaks, you can’t depend on service.

    Covers everything, but accidental TV screen damage which is never made obvious when purchasing plan. Do NOT their protection plan.

    You have to go through the process of having someone intrude into the privacy of your house instead of bringing products back to store to be worked on. Bought my last tv from Best Buy!

    TV OUT FOR 3WEEKS NO PARTS

    Our TV has been out for 3 weeks. No Parts and pushing appointments out for 10 more days? Thinking the protection plan was a waste of money!

    Hidden fees everywhere. I bought a tv and got the Protection plan, my tv went out and I made appointment and took the tv up there for repair. They wanted me to pay 80 buck for a tv that cost 119. I could just buy another tv. The brand of the tv was the Best Buy brand insignia.

      Hello Kk05 – Our Geek Squad Protection Plans on televisions shouldn’t have a service fee for repairs. If your television is replaced, and you want a new plan on the new TV, you would have to pay for that plan, however. Please give us a call at 1-800-GEEKSQUAD (1-800-433-5778) so we can go over this charge with you to see what it was for.

    They don't even read of follow their won terms and conditions. If you speak with two different agents, they will give you two different answers. It's just ridiculous.

    bought pla. for new 60 inch tv... spent $ 1600.00 thought this would take care of problems by extending warranty period another 2 yrs. beyond factory warranty.... NOT !! ... tv failed just after 2yrs.... NO coverage.

      Hello Barbara – Our 2 year television Geek Squad Protection plans run concurrently with the manufacturer’s warranty because they protect your television from more things than what that manufacturer’s warranty would.
