You can't not have a plan and this is a really long one to last through the years. Comes with the systems hardware malfunctioning on its own, but at 5 years, it's a necessary purchased for well cared for, and pricey, purchases.

Best Buy’s geek squad solves all kinds of problems. Plus they are excellent at setting up electronics

So far I have not used them for this product. But I have used them before and yhe service was good. But it is just as a back up to buy the 5 year protection just in case.
