2 year warranty is always a safe bet. This was for a gift. Haven't had any issues thus far but with 2 year warranty I know we are in good hands.

They do good at helping with ur electronics, they fixed every problem I have had.

So far I have not had to use the Geek Squad service because the products I bought are of great quality.

The geek squad protection is great because if something happens to my item it can be fixed.
