So far so good. no need for service at this point but its only been a couple months. Hopefully I'll never need it but feels good knowing it is there.

Alway get the plan. I know they cost extra money but on big ticket items it is a must. Everything breaks now because of the low cost electronics.

Every high value electronic I purchase at Best Buy will be bought with geek squad protection due to the fact that they will always fix any problems with it.

I think geek squad insurance is great knowing that if theres something wrong with the tv will come to the house to fix it instead of you taking it to the store.

I probably didn't need to get this, given the quality of the TV manufacturer, but there's a great relief in knowing that if something were to go wrong that it would be in good hands. I got this service on my last TV purchase. I only needed to use it once, but that made it worthwhile.

When I purchase one of these, I can really relax and not have to worry about issues because Geek Squad got me covered like an umbrella! ;-)

I get geek protection on all my devices. They cover everything and support the purchase.

If you buy tv, get the warranty. This took the pain out of returning my tv and got a gift card for full tv price, my $25 reward certificate and a pro rated rate for the warranty credited back

I hate to spend extra after the initial purchase. But lets face it, you spend all of that money on a new TV for a 1 year manufacturer warranty!! worth the little bit extra to know that you are covered!

I purchase the plan on my huge purchases. The Best Buy TV price with the protection plan beats competitors. Comforting and reassuring especially with the thin screen on the LG C8.

I haven't had to use my service on my recent TV but I did use to on my last TV to buy my new TV. The process was a little wonky but in the end I got my new TV
