Have had to use the protection plan in the past. Very well worth it.

We haven't used it yet, but felt it an added way to cover problems if they should occur. Fairly inexpensive

The salesperson gave lots of good reasons to get the warranty on these new 4k TVs. So far have not had to use it. But the reviews are pretty good as far as service and reputation.

I really recommend the Geek Squad Protection. This 2 year protection allows me to not have any worries & when it's nearing expiration, I like how i get notification emails for renewing the protection again. I recommend this protection on all items.

Didn't do the warranty on a TV I got about 6 years ago. But this time I did so if anything goes wrong I'll have them fix it. Best thing I did.
