I have never had to use this purchase plan but it is a just when buying items in case a need arises. What an exceptional way to protect a purchase and feel at ease.

Got just in case, got it for a mid range priced TV.. Have had issues in past with Geek Squad protection plans (had to go to Corp to get it covered as store refused to honor it).. But in the end got the other product replaced. Was told that this would not be an issue this time but only time will tell. Worth it if you have the time to call Corp to make sure you are able to use it should the store refuse..

New tv for family but it need more big size tv morw 72 should it next time thank you enjoy my new account with Best Buy

I'm glad to have purchased this agreement for my TV. The tech that assistsed me was knowledgeable, friendly and explained everything to me before leaving.

Often and I add geek squad protection to my products. It does add another layer of comfort, knowing that I’m protected for additional length of time. Thank you Best Buy for offering this.

Geek Squad Protection is a must for OLED TVs. I purchased the 5-year plan for a great price. I feel at ease knowing I’ll have Geek Squad coverage for the next 5 years in case anything goes wrong with my TV.

I have not needed the geek squad for this purchase and hopefully I wont but i have in the past and it was helpful.

The squad unhooked water and removed the old refrigerator- they had to take off the doors in order to get it out of the kitchen. They put it in the driveway for later pIckup by PNM for recycling. Then they installed the new refrigerator and hooked it up to the water supply. They made sure it was level and placed properly in the space. The squad was very helpful and professional. Excellent work!!

Best Buy offers Geek Squad protection and service agreements on all their TV's, computers, appliances, etc. The service agreement packages are all fairly reasonable, and since most manufacturers only guarantee their products for one year, extending the warranty through Geek Squad is a great value. Over the past ten years, I have purchased multiple TV's and computers through Best Buy. I have also purchased service agreements for all those purchases. On several occasions, my TV or computer has needed a repair at apprx the 5 year mark (from date of purchase). Geek Squad diagnosed the issue and determined that the product needed to be replaced. Since I had an extended warranty, Best Buy delivered a brand new product. No hassels, just good service.

1st Hisense TV so really felt it was the best thing to do with a 2 yr additional warranty. + the price was very fair

If you can’t afford buying another device if it broke, you could get this. Don’t blame a toddler for something you could have prevented!!!!

I always purchase this service when i purchase large items. Usually, i do not need the service, but when electronics fail this service is worth every penny.

Ok so shortly after I set up my new Sony 65” 4K tv I found that I couldn’t hook it up to my receiver because being an older model it had no HDMI connections. Before setting out to buy a new one I decided to call in the geek squad to see if there were other options. It just so happens that I did have an optical connection for a cable and he had one with him too. It enabled me to utilize my sound system but only to about 80% of its capacity because the HDMI cable Carrie’s so much more capabilities with sound. So I’m using it like this for now until I can get a new receiver. Trouble was I had to pay for the cable because it wasn’t covered.

It seems like whenever I finally need to use GeekSquad for something important.. they are unable to assist. A little frustrating, I don't pay for extra protection because doesn't seem worth it to me

Great service, protection is always a good idea. And most TV’s and appliances should work for minimum five years and this helps ensure it does so.

I purchased the five year geek squad plan. Lo and behold my expensive $2000 Sony TV decided to not work one day. Called up the geek squad and they arranged to have it fixed. No hassle no extra cost. The only thing I had to do was make a phone call. Best Buy and geek squad took care of everything. I purchased a second television from Best Buy also purchased a geek squad plan for five years. It a peace of mind that your television is going to be taken care of. “One call that’s all” LOL
