This 2 year protection plan came in handy once my tv stopped working almost 2 years to the purchase date. Geek Squad mailed it out to be diagnosed and within 2 days I received an email that my device would be replaced. I went in and was given a gift card.

I like the idea of in-home service. It would be a pain to dismount from wall to bring it in for service.

By far my favorite service! They are always nice and helpful. I've just upgraded to Total Memeber

I got this on an Insignia TV. Great value for 5 years. So far I have not had to use it, but if I do, the price was well worth it. I would encourage everyone to get one, especially for a TV.

My tv was mounted and installed by two of the most intelligent agents they could have sent my way. I felt very comfortable having them to work in my home. The patient they had explaining the ups and downs of have to maneuver through the channels was a plus.

We have always added geek squad service warranties to every product that buy. Geek squad has also been very helpful over the years when taking care of any product issues.

I always purchase an extended warranty on products I purchase from Best Buy. In the past if the product fails I would return the damaged product back to the store without any hassle at all. They would either exchange, refund or order me something newer if the old product had been discontinued. I rated the extended warranty a 4 because Best Buy extended warranty is a little higher than Sam's extended warranty on televisions or some other electrical products.

Easy to buy but so far we have not had to use it. The only concern so far was handled by the manufacturer.

Geek Squad protection is always a plus. Had an incident from the past. A defect appeared months after ownership-Item was replaced with no hassle. It is a pleasure doing business with a company that stands behind what they sell!

Five years for $30, sold! I bought this warranty for a low priced Insignia television and it just seems like a no-brainer that for $30 I am guaranteed to have a TV that works for five years. In this disposable electronics time we live in, I could not upgrade in three years for $30, so again it is a great deal.
