Always always always buy the Geek Squad protection plan when buying anything that has to do with electronics, kitchen or car stereo from Best Buy. These plans help insure that you can always get help when something happens or goes wrong.

I always get the "extra" protection because you never know what's going to happen. I figured I couldn't go wrong with getting it (and it was such a low price). It came in handy with a previous TV purchase. I only had to pay a "small" difference in the price of the TVs (since I purchased a different one the 2nd time).

I don’t often by service or insurance but once in a while with specific products and needs, it’s a good idea and can be worth the money.
