Great for. Overnight things main warranty doesn’t cover

I Bought an LG 50" TV and purchased the 5 year plan. A week later I had an accident when trying to move the TV on the TV stand and it fell and smashed the screen. I brought it back to the store figuring it would not be covered under warranty because I caused the fall of the TV. I understood that but what I wasn't happy about was the fact the 5 year plan I purchased a week before, would not follow the 2nd new TV I had to purchase. So the cost of the 5 year plan the week before was just a donation the BestBuy. I will never purchase any plans from BestBuy in the future. I know the damage was caused by myself but the TV was a week old and BestBuy couldn't help me out at all. I would have complained to management if thought anyone would have listened to me. BestBuy even charged me the recycling fee for a one week old TV. Now the 2nd TV has major sync problems I can't seem to fix. Go figure.

I haven’t use the service yet, but it was hard for me to get it signed up online. I don’t know how to do that and I could’ve used help on it.

It’s a good thing to have it’s just sad when the Tv you have brakes like 1 month after you subscription is done.

I contemplated this purchase. I make sure to buy warranties for most of my electronics. I have this warranty on all my tvs! Please be advised that it does not cover everything! I recently had two tvs damaged. The one tv went out for no appearant reason after a little over a year. I suspect some type of surge. It took Geek Squad over one month and two visits to determine that the tv could not be repaired because the parts were no longer available. When the replacement was finally approved Best Buy sent a contractor who could only deliver the new 50 in. They were unable to take down the old tv or mount the new tv. So the delivery had to be rescheduled until I removed the old tv and prepared to mount the new tv myself. The issue with the second tv was that the screen was cracked and it was not covered under the warranty. We have a toddler and unfortunately the screen on our old tv was cracked almost two years prior which was precisely why we were instructed to get the warranty. So of course I was flabbergasted when I disconnected my broken tv and carried it into the store just to be told that it was not covered. So I left the store after repurchasing the same tv for nearly five hundred dollars. Angry was un understatement. The warranty is a coin toss. The only way that it is worth it is if you have a surge.

$30 for TWO years, sounds good to me, you never know what could happen.

Did not pan out as i was told, purchase for airpod pros and was told that if we lost one we could get it replaced. Which is not true. only if sound is not functioning correctly with they replace.

I would recommend for televisions, it has helped me in the past.

When we originally bought this plan the guy told us it covered everything in the house. Not true. Be careful.
