The charge shows on my sales slip but no paperwork showing what is covered and other info. I thought it might arrive later in the mail - no such luck. What did I buy?????

If I had purchased this with my 1st tv, I wouldn't have had to fight with the manufacturer for a refund when my TCL went out after 3 months. Haven't had to use this one yet, and hopefully I won't. That's why the 3 star rating

Not quite sure I am convinced these are worth the cost. In 2 cases over the last 15 years have I ever used one and it wasn't really worth it. The product was outdated and I simply chose to upgrade to the newer version.

Great to have if your tv goes out at four years like one of our old one did...but if you somehow damage your tv getting it back to the store after it goes out then it voids your warranty. This warranty does NOT cover damage. Be careful.

Geek squad is a complete joke and a huge waste of money and time. They used to be good. My 12-year-old kid can outsmart them. Don't waste your money, find a kid to help. The kid is smarter and easier to find.

Only supports hardware issues. Useless when I encountered software problems caused by ASUS. There is no reason Geek Squad would need additional charges for software problems outside of a money grab.

Going on 4 weeks trying to get a new remote for my barely 3 month old 55" tv, because the first person i spoke to apparently did not finish putting in my claim and when i called back 2-3 weeks later they did not have it available. Its been a great time. Definitely more displeased with the product itself than i am with the service, however.

Geek Squad unavailable until 1 year MFR. Warranty

Geek Squad protection is not really worth it on small appliances such as Televisions. A 2 year protection plan starts right away during the manufacturer warranty period, so if your device breaks down in the first year then you need to contact the manufacturer but that 1st manufacturer warranty period counts towards your 2 year plan leaving your with 1 year left for Geek Squad. Other stores don't count the 1st year against you and help you with your appliances or devices if you purchased within a month or so. I purchased my television 2 weeks ago and it is no longer eligible for return and now I have to deal with the manufacturer which is only available on weekdays

The 2 year plan is ok just wish that best buy would cover both years themselves instead of the first year I have to deal with the manufacturer of the tv what is paying for 2 year warranty it doesn't make sense

Want additional $149 to repair items, paid for GS!

Already purchased G-squad protection plan, now they want $149 to have a service tech come out and look at problem. I’m disabled, but they want me to take it in, instead of the option of mailing it in for repair? I would not recommend geek squad or Best Buy’s protection plans at all. It’s better to purchase a separate plan with other insurance or protection plans from other providers! it made me sick to my stomach that I paid this much for protection plans on multiple items only to find out that when it collect more money and don’t have an option for a male in repair for someone that’s disabled?? They’re not thinking about anything except their bottom line, certainly not considering their loyal customers! Will file a complaint!!

I bought this plan because the sales person told me it co era accidental dams he, I figured why not because I was buying a new tv and with kids to be on the safe side well let’s say I’m paying for a tv and the accidental coverage that won’t fix it....
