Purchased this to be "protected" but Best Buy will do nothing because it's still covered under the manufacture's warranty. The manufacture will not repair or replace it. Instead, they want to send me a check in the mail after 20 business days for the price I paid if I can submit the original receipt from the store. Of course they will refund me only the price of the TV, not what I paid for the Geek Squad protection which has done NOTHING. Complete waste of money, do not purchase.

Great price, haven't needed them yet, but I am sure they will be great.

My television broke in 7 months. It won’t turn on, Geek Squad took 2 weeks to get to my home only to tell me that they couldn’t fix my 82” television and the repair isn’t covered under the 5 year warranty I purchased for and paid for in total. They told me to get a new TV. I should have gotten insurance through Samsung directly. Thanks for all the help!!

Haven't used it yet so I don't know. I hope not to use it touch wood

Purchased a samsung galaxy edge and the device went faulty after 10 months. Geek squad couldnt help me and sent me to samsung. Samsung needed me to send them my phone and they had it for 2 weeks. The geek squad service rep was great but what they could provide wasn't helpful to the sitiation.

Worth the money and was very affordable with the total price of the TV.

I purchased geek squad protection for a TV that was defaulted. I only had the TV for 3 months, They exchanged the TV but would not transfer or refund any amount for the protection. I have to pay another $80 for a protection that was Best Buy problem not mine.

Have had this protection plan on past items and it is worth the cost

Great for a mid range tv. Not high end but great picture quality.

They were fine. They could not accomplish what we needed

They are slow and when you need them they don't have enough workers

Fortunately I have not had to use this and hope I don't anytime soon

They say that you're covered from the time that you buy the extended warranty bull. I was having a problem with my TV brought it to the attention of Best Buy geek squad and they said I had to go through the manufacturer's warranty the first year and then after the geek squad they would not help me at all.

I would've recommended it. The tv's are non refundable after 30 days. My chord broke off and geek squad they don't cover it. 2nd time I called and my issue wasn't covered they told me to call the manufacturer. Manufacturer said they don't cover parts?? So in confused at the point of the warranty.

I got the protection just in case something happened to my TV.

Not sure Havnt had to use it yet. I am sure when I need it it will be fine.

I don't know what happened to my new TV! It didn't even last a year and the screen got damaged. Dark spots started to appear! The good thing is that it had a two-year warranty and they replaced it! It's a very good thing to buy a warranty for household appliances.

Average Geek Squad job- had to make return trip to correct a problem
