Consider the cost of the tv i bought and they guarantee it for 5 years. I see tvs all over on cl selling w bad pixels or a line. If this hapoens in 4 years from nowwell i call best buy and tgey bring me a samsung series 9 tv that has 3d to my house and haul off the bad one who wouldnt want their tech replaced with the new updated version?

I had bought a Vizio tv where it would shut of intermittently so I called Vizio they were no help. So bought a new Samsung tv I love this thing to death always purchase a extended warranty I hope I don’t have to use mine but if I do I know I’ll be covered! :)

My TV was poorly packaged and arrived broken and cracked. One call to the Geek Squad and arrangements were made for it to be picked up and returned for a full refund on the TV and 5 year protection plan.

The installation was done fast and he was friendly.

bought 65" insignia 4k tv in july - hdmi ports (all 3) failed in mid november - purchased 4 year geek squad svc contract - contacted geek squad service - 4 separate chat sessions, and 1 telephone call later, they have yet to have the repair person come to my home to put a new motherboard in my tv - it is not even scheduled!! on the telephone call this morning, their rep said they did not even have a repair person in this area (syracuse, ny), to service tv's. they took my money for the contract but can't even provide the service!! buyers beware of this tactic - service is not part of their dna!!!

Thank God I have not had to use the insurance but on other occasions I have used it with other items and it has been a blessing

Purchased Geek Squad fixed my flat screen TV. There was a problem which was fixed for free by Geek Squad. Took multiple visits but TV did work between visits just with some features not working.

Great warranty Best Buy is the best definitely recommend it to everyone

I purchased this for a little peace of mind. Because the oled tv is a little more expensive I didn't want to have to worry about any problems that might pop up.

Must have for electronics that get a lot of usage. Plus, I get this for anything I spend over $100 for as I don't like taking chances and wasting money for things that could possibly break. Now if it breaks after the warranty runs out then that's fine with me as I got my money's worth in my opinion.

I purchased this extended warranty because it covers parts and labor as well as in home repair. Even covers damage from lightning! One repair in the five year coverage and it will pay for itself.

This gives me piece of mind for 5 years of my TV should have any issues. The price was very cost effective for the term I'm receiving. Very good deal!

I got this for my 50” flat screen. 1 year later I call them up and tell them somehow my screen is glitched on one side I sent pictures and they told me they couldn’t fix it. So they gave me a free TV. Smaller but it was an upgrade. My flat screen was just a regular tv ended up getting a Samsung 43”

I signed on because their terms were good and I will have piece of mind. Nothing is predictable witha new product. I haven't had any issue so far but they sent an email to check on the product.

Gives you the piece of mind in case something goes wrong.

Always get the protection plan. It’s worth it because you never know with how stuff is built these days
